A Chef’s Tour is an experience held dear to our hearts. With backgrounds as cooks, we grew up looking up to the great Chefs of our times.
We dedicate this experience to the Chefs who influenced us to move to Vietnam and explore local food around the world.
You don’t have to be a chef or professional cook to book and enjoy this experience. You will need to be a real foodie though excited to try most anything as long as it’s delicious!
This is a unique and memorable private tour experience catered for your tastes. We have an idea of the dishes and vendors we might like to try that night, but we decide to change the tour and route after meeting the customer and getting to know them.
Our Chef’s tour was the first of its kind offered in Ho Chi Minh City. This tour is longer, more intense, and has our best local foodie guides available on the tour ready to take you to some of the best-hidden spots in all of Saigon.
Depending on the types of dishes and the requests that have been made this tour will normally stop at 7-10 vendors during the tour. We have taken out foodies, professional chefs, and market researchers who were looking to gain as much knowledge as possible about the tastes and variety of Vietnamese food in the short amount of time they are here.

A tour can be canceled with a full refund (minus Paypal Fee Costs that cannot be refunded) up to 24 hours before tour departure. If canceled after that, a 20% charge is applied.

A private tour can be canceled and fully refunded(minus Paypal Fee Costs that cannot be refunded) up to 24 Hours before tour departure. If canceled after that, a 20% charge is applied.
LATE ARRIVALS AND NO-SHOWS
Due to extremely strict time slots for entry into attractions and for food preparation, we recommend you show up 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time of the tour or experience. Our group tours begin & depart precisely at the scheduled tour or experience start time. If you show up late or cannot find the meeting point, for any reason, refund requests are not honored per policy. If you are having a hard time arriving on time we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can do everything in our power to assist you with arriving at the meeting point at the scheduled time or reschedule to the next available tour.

Inside of 24 hours, your spot on the tour has been reserved exclusively for you. Since we are unable to fill your spot if you’re unable to attend for any reason (including transportation or illness), we do not offer refunds after that time. Please plan ahead so that you are able to join us and don’t miss out!

We would be happy to assist you with rescheduling your tour, free of charge, with any requests made more than 24 hours of 8 a.m. (GMT +7) on the date of the tour. We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee should you request to reschedule within 24 hours of 8 a.m. (GMT +7) on the date of your tour. Once again, this is subject to availability and price changes. In general, we only charge you for any additional costs that we incur such as missing out on potential bookings by reserving your spot. We have no intention of profiting from disruptions to your vacation but we are also a small business that highly depends on maximizing its potential during certain times of the year.

Of course it also helps to be accompanied by two of the most FANTASTIC guides - Kim and Tao, who were knowledgable, interesting and lots of fun - and excellent motorbike drivers! We did the chefs tour and had an amazing time. Really loved how the menu was curated based on what we like. We did the Big Eats Small Seats afternoon tour with Kim Anh and Quyen, who were extremely friendly and knowledgeable guides. Being on the back of the motorbike was nerve wracking at first but the ride was extremely smooth and fun. I’d highly recommend the afternoon tour if you want to try authentic Vietnamese street food. We were taken to spots that I doubt we’d ever think to find by ourselves, either on the street or hidden in the alleys of Chinatown, and had some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve had.

Loved our experience! Having never been on the back of a motorbike, especially in a busy lively city, Anh made me feel very comfortable as she drove to the many different locations. My partner had Thuy as his guide, both girls were lovely and had much to say about where they live. The food was very tasty, it is hard to pick a favourite. Very much recommend this tour!

Very hectic but soon relaxed and had fun. Stopping at all the different places and trying lots of new foods. Great to have English speaking drivers. We were a group of 4, and unfortunately one of our group did not feel safe as their driver was erratic and drove way to fast and kept jamming on breaks hard, and very wobbly almost crashing into a fence. Being on the back of her motorcycle during peak hour traffic took things to the next level!Her “wingman” Dung (trust I got that right) also did an amazing job.I have done many food tours in Asia recently and this one is up there as one of the best! Highly recommend.

This was my favourite thing to do in Vietnam. Not only did I get to try the local food in 5 different places I had the most lovely bike rider that gave me great knowledge of the areas and foods. Tam made me feel very comfortable on the bike in peak hour traffic. Highly highly recommended this tour to everyone coming to Vietnam.

The whole team was great but my driver/guide Lan was exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in every way. Fun and flavours! Highly recommended. A fun and interesting evening full of flavour. A fantastic way to experience varied authentic Vietnamese food. The whole team was great but my driver/guide Lan was exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in every way. Brilliant experience We did the Back of the Bike Food Tour and it was fantastic. Very competent and thoughtful drivers who took good care of us but still made sure we got a real taste of being on a scooter in Ho Chi Minh City!! Great food to in places that we probably wouldn’t have gone to without their guidance. Thoroughly recommend tour. Great fun.

Brilliant experience We did the Back of the Bike Food Tour and it was fantastic. Great food to in places that we probably wouldn’t have gone to without their guidance. Thoroughly recommend tour. Great fun.
